Comet Lemmon | October 30, 2025

Description
Here is the last I photographed of C/2025 A6 (Lemmon) I captured the tail of the comet drifting through the night sky as the night began to darken and the stars began to appear. This image shows the short white dust tail with the long blue gas tail. The comet was shinning around mag +4, and the coma and dust was visible through binoculars, but could not been seen with the naked eye due to light pollution. The trailed stars are caused from stacking frames on the comet's movement, rather than the stars' movement. This way keeps the comet still in the image, while ignoring the movement of the stars. Telescope: SkyWatcher 62ED Evolux Refractor Camera: Sony a7iii
